Your rights under australian consumer law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a refund or other remedy if a service:

  • Is not provided at all
  • Is substantially different from what was agreed
  • Is not fit for its intended purpose
  • Is not delivered within a reasonable time

These consumer guarantees apply regardless of any cancellation fees outlined below.

Customer-initiated cancellations

All cancellations must be requested via phone, email, or written confirmation and are effective from the time we receive and acknowledge the request.

Tours (Day Tours, Sightseeing & Private Tours)

  • 48 hours or more before tour start time → Full refund
  • 24 to 48 hours before tour start time → 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours or No-Show → No refund

Taxi & Transfer Services (Airport Transfers, Hotel Transfers, Point-to-Point Travel)

  • 12 hours or more before pickup time → Full refund
  • 6 to 12 hours before pickup time → 50% refund
  • Less than 6 hours or No-Show → No refund

Luxury Chauffeur, Group & Special Event Services

Specific cancellation terms for these services will be confirmed at the time of booking and form part of this policy. These services require advance allocation and planning.

Booking changes and other important information

Booking Changes

Requests to change pickup time, date, or service type are subject to availability. Price differences may apply if the new booking differs from the original service. Change requests should be made as early as possible.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. No additional refund processing fees are charged by us. Bookings made through third-party platforms may be subject to their refund procedures.

Cancellations by Australia Tour and Taxi Services

If we need to cancel or reschedule a service due to operational issues, safety concerns, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, you may choose a full refund or reschedule the service at no extra cost (subject to availability).

Force Majeure

In cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseeable events, we will work with you to provide a fair outcome in line with Australian Consumer Law.
